Cancellation & Refund Policy

At Aleena Wedding Planner & Caterers, we put significant effort into planning, preparation, and vendor coordination for every event we undertake. Due to the nature of our catering and event planning services, all payments are strictly non-refundable. This Cancellation and Refund Policy outlines the terms and conditions for cancellations and refunds.
1. Cancellation Policy
1.1 Event Cancellation by Client
You may cancel your confirmed booking at any time by notifying us in writing via WhatsApp (+91 86866 46021) or email (rehman@aleenacaterers.com). However, please note:
- No refund will be issued regardless of when the cancellation is made — whether it is 30 days, 15 days, 7 days, or 1 day before the event.
- All advance payments and deposits made will be retained by Aleena Caterers to cover the costs of planning, preparation, procurement, vendor coordination, and opportunity cost of holding your date.
- Once a cancellation is processed, the booking date will be released and made available to other clients.
1.2 Event Date Change / Postponement
We understand that unforeseen circumstances may sometimes require a change of event date. In such cases:
- You may request a one-time date change subject to availability on the new date.
- Date change requests must be made at least 15 days before the original event date.
- The new event date must be within 90 days of the original date.
- No refund will be issued if the new date is not available or if you fail to hold the event on the rescheduled date.
- Additional charges may apply if the rescheduled event falls on a peak season date or if there are changes in pricing or logistics.
Date change requests are granted at our sole discretion and are not guaranteed.
1.3 Cancellation by Aleena Caterers
In extremely rare circumstances, Aleena Caterers may need to cancel a confirmed booking due to situations beyond our control, such as natural disasters, government-imposed restrictions, lockdowns, curfews, riots, civil unrest, or any other genuine force majeure event.
In such cases, Aleena Caterers may, at its sole discretion, offer a credit note for the paid amount to be used towards a future event within 6 months, or a one-time date rescheduling at no additional charge (subject to availability). Even in cases where Aleena Caterers cancels the event, refunds are not guaranteed. The decision to issue a credit note or reschedule is entirely at our discretion.
2. Refund Policy
2.1 No Refund Policy
All payments made to Aleena Wedding Planner & Caterers are final and strictly non-refundable. This includes but is not limited to:
- Advance booking deposits.
- Partial payments and installments.
- Full payments for confirmed events.
- Payments for additional services (decoration, photography, videography, DJ, venue, transportation, etc.).
2.2 Non-Refundable Circumstances
No refund will be provided under any of the following circumstances:
- Cancellation of the event by the client for any reason.
- Reduction in guest count, change of menu, or downgrading of services after booking confirmation.
- Change of mind, change of venue, family disputes, or any personal reasons.
- Cancellations due to weather, government orders, venue issues, or any other reason beyond or within the client’s control.
- Partial utilization or non-utilization of booked services.
- Dissatisfaction with services after the event has been delivered.
- Failure to use the platform’s services or failure to attend the event (no-show).
2.3 Reduction in Services or Guest Count
If after booking confirmation you wish to reduce the guest count, remove menu items, or downgrade any services, no refund or price adjustment will be made for any reduction in scope. The original quoted and agreed-upon amount remains payable in full. Any additions or upgrades will be charged separately.
3. No-Show Policy
If the client or their representatives fail to be present at the agreed venue on the event date and time, or if the client fails to provide necessary access to the venue, it will be treated as a cancellation by the client. All payments made will be forfeited with no refund, and Aleena Caterers will not be obligated to deliver any services.
4. Disputes & Chargebacks
By making a payment and confirming a booking with Aleena Caterers, you agree that:
- You will not raise any payment dispute, chargeback, or claim with your bank, payment provider, or any financial institution against any payment made to us.
- If a dispute or chargeback is raised in violation of this policy, you shall be liable for all costs, legal fees, and expenses incurred by Aleena Caterers in resolving the dispute.
- We reserve the right to take legal action to recover any amounts wrongfully disputed.
5. Modifications to the Policy
Aleena Wedding Planner & Caterers reserves the right to modify this Cancellation and Refund Policy at any time. Any changes to this policy will be effective immediately upon posting on our website. Continued use of our platform or services after changes to the policy constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy.
6. Acknowledgement
By making a payment and/or booking our Services, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to this Cancellation & Refund Policy in its entirety. You acknowledge that all payments are non-refundable and that this policy is a fundamental term of your agreement with Aleena Wedding Planner & Caterers.
